Summer 2023 Has Options
This summer, from July 24 - August 17, take advantage of a unique opportunity for
free college credit! Southern is offering a free, 3-credit-hour, class in our third
summer session. This offer is only available to undergraduate students enrolling at
Southern for the first time. The tuition is on us; you’ll only pay for your housing,
textbooks and food. This is a great opportunity to get a head start on your classes
and benefit from a great discount.
*If you take a 4-credit-hour class during SmartStart, you will be required to pay
for the additional credit.
When selecting SmartStart classes please note the SmartStart filter on the left side of the course schedule. Class dates will be listed as July 24 - August 17, 2023. Science SmartStart classes duration will be listed as July 17 - August 17, 2023.

- Create a Southern MyAccess Account using your student ID number.
- Register for your SmartStart class starting February 28.
