Gym-Kids/Mini-Masters

PLEASE NOTE: Fall 2024 Gym-Kids and Mini-Masters Sign Ups will be available on August 1, 2024.

Registration Steps to Take

  • Once on the Southern.DSERec Class Registration page click the Login Button.
  • Create a Local Account (Community Members & Guests) or a University Account (SAU Students/Staff). 
  • Once Logged in click the Drop Down where name is listed and select My Account.
  • Add each child as an Affiliate.  You can also put your Payment Method in as well.
  • Once you have added your child/ren as an affiliate then you will need to click the dropdown menu option where name is listed (top right of screen) and select Act for “Affiliate”.
  • After that there will be some forms/waivers to sign and payment finalization.

Gym-Kids

September: 9, 11, 16,18, 23,25, 30 October: 2, 7, 9, 21, 23, 28, 30 November: 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20

Sign Ups Open August 1

The Gym-Kids program is divided into four levels: Beginner I and II and Intermediate I and II. The Beginner I and II classes are designed to provide a sound foundation of gymnastic skills through proper progressions. This will be accomplished through the development of strength and flexibility as well as drills. The Intermediate I and II classes involve the more dynamic skills (back and front handsprings, flipping, and running tumbling). By developing sound connection concepts, the gymnast will begin to string together series tumbling. Gym-Kids is for ages 5 to 14.

Gym-Kids meets on Mondays/Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:20 p.m. or 4:30 - 5:20 p.m.

Mini-Masters

September: 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 October: 1, 3, 8, 10, 22, 24, 29, 31 November: 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21

Sign Ups Open August 1
The Mini-Masters is for advanced students in gymnastics leading to possible performance opportunities. Students need to be at the intermediate Gym-Kids level. Students will continue to improve their individual skills along with being taught skills that will be used in specialty and group routines. 

Mini-Masters meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 - 5:30 p.m.
