Mitch Menzmer Exhibit
Mitch Menzmer, Ph.D., is a chemistry professor at Southern Adventist University.
In this series of works, the artist is exploring the relationships between shapes and colors, as well as free brushstrokes. The artist uses translucency and opacity to create a feeling of depth. The overall effect is intended to be one of contemplation and a pleasant journey for the eye.
Daniel S. Howard Exhibit
Costa Rica is home to more than 50 species of hummingbirds, thriving across its diverse rainforests, cloud forests, and highlands. This gallery features the Lesser Violetear, Violet Sabrewing, Green-crowned Brilliant, and Rufous-tailed Hummingbird, four remarkable species that showcase the incredible beauty and diversity of Costa Rica’s hummingbirds. “Observing and photographing these tiny, dazzling creatures in their natural habitats is a privilege,” said Howard.
Pet Photos
A collection of pet photos submitted by Southern Adventist University students, faculty, and staff is now on display on the main floor of McKee Library. The exhibit celebrates the beloved pets that bring companionship, joy, and a little extra fun to the lives of members of the Southern community. Stop by the library to see the adorable collection and meet some of the furry, feathered, and four-legged friends who hold a special place in our campus community.
From the Vault Exhibit: Desmond Doss Letters & Poems
A collection of letters and poems by and about Desmond Doss is on display on McKee Library's main floor. The display includes two lithographs with handwritten messages from Desmond Doss, dated 1991. The exhibit will be available throughout the Fall 2026 semester.
