Benefits and Services

 

All graduates or those who attended Southern Adventist University for one semester are automatically members of the Alumni Association and are entitled to the following complimentary benefits and services:

   

Alumni Benefits

The following complimentary benefits are provided to Southern alumni:

Access to utilize free resources provided by Career Services, including career counseling, access to online tools, assistance with resumes, cover letters, and interviewing skills.

Search for alumni by name, class year, or location through the online platform.

Maintain lifetime access to your Southern email account by logging in on a regular basis.

Complimentary borrowing privileges and access to other resources with a library card.

Alumni and their household family members are eligible to receive discounted memberships.

Available at select hotels located a short distance from campus.

Southern has 23 two-bedroom apartments on campus available for visiting guests to rent.

The $40 application fee is waived for alumni interested in one of Southern's graduate programs.

The Planned Giving Office provides free estate planning assistance—no strings attached! If Southern is included as a beneficiary in your plan, you may receive a reimbursement of up to $1,000 of your estate planning attorney fees.

Assistance with yearbook recovery or the university's archives.

View an online collection of university publications such as Southern Memories yearbooks (1923-52), Southern Accent student newspapers, and the Legacy collection of student writings through the years published by the English Department. The collection also includes A Century of Challenge, which chronicles the history of Southern.
