Are you a strategic thinker who can amplify the impact of content by shaping it for the right digital and media channels to drive engagement and build community? Are you highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment?
Online Campus is looking for a communicator who is a topnotch writer also versed in multimedia storytelling and social media outreach to join our team. As a content and social media manager, you'll develop original content about new approaches to teaching, new modes of learning, new online courses and programs, and the future of higher education—for a few different audiences.

*Responsibilities
*Writes, edits, and manages all social media related content and outgoing departmental communications such as newsletters and email campaigns.
*Launches and manages social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other relevant social networking sites.
*Manages online discussions in a timely manner and crafts responses to blogs, other social media sites, and online news outlets.
*Conducts weekly editorial meetings to collect ideas from team members and oversee editorial calendar of upcoming stories.
*Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals *Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) *Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics *Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews *Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) *Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Qualifications: *Strong creative and editorial writing skills.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies *Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) *Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics *Knowledge of online marketing channels *Familiarity with web design *Analytical and multitasking skills
Hours: Flexible within our office hours of M-Th 8-5, F 8-noon
Pay Rate: Based on class standing
